The Story
Based on the film The Apartment by Billy Wilder.
Chuck Baxter lends his apartment to businessmen having affairs in an effort to
advance himself in the business world. One of them, J.D. Sheldrake, happens
to be seeing Fran Kubelik, with whom Chuck is in love. This complicates things
greatly for him. Ultimately, Fran reciprocates his love after she discovers how
he feels when he saves her from a suicide attempt after the conflicted J.D. leaves
her to return to his wife.
Produced by special arrangement with Tams-Witmark Music Library.
